    E40 Cranking Spark table add

    We recently added the Cranking spark table to the editor definition file for all E40 operating systems as shown here



    If you need access to this table email support at hptuners.com with the subject line: E40 cranking spark table beta serial number(insert your serial number here) and we'll upload it to your customer page.

    Really? Whats it do? I can't say I've needed to touch this on any car I've tuned.

    I have an 06 GTO with a 427 stroker and healthy cam right now that has had it's VE and MAF 100% tuned. WOT is awesome and it drives well. It will NOT startup without pedal. I'm not even sure that the startup airflow table DOES ANYTHING on this car. Going from OEM to maxing out the table in small steps, there is absolutely no difference.

    The car was supposed to back tomorrow, but we are getting rain all day today turning into ice tonight. He's an out of towner and has just re-scheduled for next week because of the weather. I have been at the end of the rope on trying to get that thing to startup. Before seeing this post, I was about to use a different software package on the car when it came back. Now I don't have to

    One thing I've wondered... why do some of the cars bottom out to -10ยบ in some of those cells? I almost always just smooth those out.
