    6.0 tuner

I just bought a 2003 gmc 1500hd with a 6.0 in it. The guy that I bought it from said that it had a hp programer on it so I am thinking that it could be this. Is there anyway to tell if it has been tuned and if so is there anyway to set it back to stock without any equipment since he
Didn't give me anything with it

I just don't know if it actually has one on it so I was trying to figure out if it did or didn't the speedo on it isn't right and I figured if it was tuned that would have been fixed for oversized tires

hptuners is not on a cars pcm (computer).. think of it as a tool.. eg; a wrench I used to replace a part.. it's not left on the car when done tuning.. it is a tool that is used for adjusting things like the speedo or fueling ect..

So there isn't anyway to tell if it has been tuned

not without downloading the file on the computer and looking at it.. this would require hptuners software and interface.. http://www.hptuners.com

Where are you located? Perhaps someone in your area with HP Tuners could download the tune on your truck and take a look at it...
