Im not sure what your after exactly, and I am no guru but here is something I have been playing with for the same year of truck. It provides a good increase in power, economy, and is fun to drive. Both the DIC and hand calculation come out at a 5 mph increase. The transmission shifts more like a gasoline powered vehicle, but is a little quircky after reflash. The TCM must learn a few perameters and then it smartens up very quickly. Drive the vehicle nicely until you notice shift improvement. I have not dynoed this tune or had a pyrometer on it yet. USE AT OWN RISK, this is far as I was willing to go with stock transmission(and possibly to far?) but so far so good.

I looked over your tune, again not a guru, but I think it is safe. You will find the one I uploaded to be bigger. Based on what I have read, a pyro should be used on both tunes if you intend to pull anything. I intend to put a pyro on mine soon, but I have a bigger tune in an LBZ and have not come close to the 1350 F limit with it. My transmission mods may be more then should be done stock for pulling, but it drives so much nicer.

Well I dont pull anything... I just bought a diesel because I am a stubborn SOB and I wanted one...

Use VCM editor, vcm controls, trans, trans adapt reset. It also is reset every time you flash the TCM.

I get the following when I try to open your tune:

"Unable to open file. Index was out of bounds of the array."

    Any ideas?

I am using a newer version of hpt then you, contact support and ask for a copy of latest beta. Once its installed you will be able to open the file. Have access to some dyno time again, so I will be working on improving this tune next weekend and see if my new histos work correctly.

Did not get the dyno time I had hoped, spent to long on something else. I will upload the tune again here, but as i said, you have to have a recent beta to open it.
