    Question on Injector settings

My car misses at cruise and also just sitting I bring the RPMs up and it misses. Pretty sure something with the injectors is off. I have the Siemens 60# injectors and I'm running at 58 PSI fuel pressure. Anyone know what the settings for these injectors should be. Also the car has a vortech Si-trim supercharger installed. Runs fine on the upper end just cruising around it runs rich. Keep getting P0172 and P0175 codes (Rich bank 1 & 2). Also at idle it smells rich.

Car is a 1999 corvette coupe. Attached tune and scan.

    Thanks.

Probably is. But also, from what I am reading, it seems that the values in the IFR tables is off too. Those values are what the injectors are rated at 43.5 PSI rail pressure. I am at 58 PSI rail pressure. So i'm pretty sure that is off too. Just wondering what the IFR tables as well as offset and minimum pulse width should be set at with these injectors.

Search. Been asked about once every few days, may find some helpful info. We have a sticky to calculate the correct IFR as well...

Search for injectors.xls. Here's what I calc'd using that sheet for 60# injectors:

    69.28 69.72 70.14 70.57 70.99 71.42 71.84 72.25 72.67 73.08 73.49 73.89 74.30 74.70 75.10 75.50 75.90

Can those be put right in the IFR table directly?
I have been reading about a limitation to the IFR table not allowing that high of a number in the table without having to put in a smaller number and having to modify another table to compensate.

    Thanks.

Those are KPA #s or IFR #s, which should be able to be dropped straight into the "flow rate vs. KPA" table. Did you find the excel sheet?

I've never personally worked with 60# injectors, so I'm not sure of the limitation you're speaking of. I'd give them a try and see what happens.

Otherwise, do like WS6 said and search for more info on the 60# injector settings. You would be wise to find the injectors.xls file too, so you can see how these #'s are generated. Just remember, the internet is ALWAYS RIGHT! /sarcasm Aka, better to do your own work rather than trust me to do it for you.

Yes I did find the injector.xls file. Been reading quite a bit about these. Thats why the question about inputting those settings. Unless HPTuners has fixed that issue, previous posts were about these 70.xx readings being to high for it so you have to fudge around it and work the flow rate modifier vs volts tables.

Thats why I was asking if that was still an issue or not. But I have been doing quite a bit of reading about these injectors and trying to get them dialed in. Just wondering what people have done. This thing runs too rich at idle and cruise, causing surging while cruising. But I have an idea now on what the issue is and some kind of cure.

    Oh the fun.
