I know this guy with a 1970 C10 with a DMax swapped in....

Not personally, but my friend is one of the guys who has done a lot of work on that truck (swapping Allisons at the track!)

I have not yet started it but I might do that tomorrow, as soon as I finish the fuel system.
The engine will be left stock save for a free flowing exhaust and a performance/economy tune since it will be the truckshop driven on a daily basis.
I am very tempted to drop the cam I goy out of my LQ9, which is the same part number as the one GMPP uses in the 327/327.
But then again I want to keep this engine stock.

That is a killer truck, mine is in the very first stages of being built, I intend to keep it on the Rat Truck style, as I love "gloss challenged" cars and i gave in and painted my 70 Chevelle -which is getting an L92 headed 6.0.
And as I said I have been fighting the urge to put a little cam on this one, probably the first uncammed car I will have.

    1991 Toyota Land Cruiser

    5.3L swap. 2004 from a 1500; 4L60 trans.

Running; have U0107 code and TAC freaks out at 30% Throttle.

good at WOT though! That's pretty much it. The only bug is this one, everything else seemed to go smoothly with an Advance Adapters Transfer case kit.

    I love this swap.

    there's the swap thread.
after all this work; and the wife will claim it as her daily.

1972 chevy 4x4 3/4 ton with 6.0L and 6L90E custom adaptor to retain the NP205 4:10 gearing and 35s! the real kicker is the procharger with 8lbs and cooled! This thing is quite abit lighter than the stock 2500 series truck this engine came out of (5500) lbs and I can't believe how hard this thing pulls! I'll liquify the pro comp tires with minimal throttle! I love it! got hp tuners to change some things in the trans that I'm still trying to figure out myself but it's been dynoed tuned by a local shop here.

Added a new one to my arsenal, 2007 GMT900, 408 stroker, nice bumpy camshaft, -15cc pistons, LQ4 heads, 94mm Precision rear mounted turbo and 66mm wastegate, 94lb/hr injectors, FMIC, dual bosch 044 pumps, billet fuel rails, trutrac with 3.23s, 4L80e conversion, NelsonPerformance tweaking the digits in the tune.

BTW, detuned the 93 truck mentioned previously, now 4.8L powered.
