I have a customer with a 2007 Yukon that has a supercharger on it. The stock trans gave out and he replaced it with a TCI 4l60e. The truck drives fine but he gets a p0717 iss code. Is there a way to disable this code?

P0717 relates to your tranny's input speed sensor I would definitely investigate why its throwing this code instead of disabling it.

The TCI trans does not have an input speed sensor in it which is why he wants it turned off.
I have been using the search function and it looks like he needs a segment swap from the stock 4l70e to the new 4l60e. I believe he currently has the 4l70e tcm on the trans, I assume he will need a tcm for a 4l60e and then the segment swap done?
The tcm/pcm looks for the input from the input shaft speed sensor.Im amazed the trans will work in the truck without a problem.
Sound like the trans shop pulled the input speed sensor or used an older 4L6x series trans when they did the build. There is *no segment swap* for the 07's since they all used transmissions with ISS.
