My Jeep is a manual, but an older YJ with no clutch switch. 2001 4.8, manual calibration. I don't think DFCO is working, and believe its due to the/a clutch switch not connected. Tech2 says the clutch status is engaged (eSI tells me that, like the TCC circuit on an auto, the clutch signal is +12v high until pulled low by the clutch switch opening). I also have a Z28 with working DFCO, and can feel it drop out when I lightly press on the clutch.....so I'm assuming the trucks work the same way. Is there any way I can make the PCM ignore the missing switch?
