Help with Tune device

Hello folks, newbie here.
So long story short, I have a 2015 Mustang GT. Recently had a single turbo kit installed, I made the HP tuner account then let the mechanic who did my install load the tune.
As of now, I need to load in a new revised tune and for the life of me can't figure out how to connect my tuner to my phone/computer.
Yesterday I connected via Bluetooth, then did the read option. However, when it finished the read there was still no vehicle shown in "my vehicles".
Then I tried to use my laptop, and when I attempted to read the code to then write the code it said it was unrecognized.

I haven't been able to reach my mechanic yet, so just stopping by here for a quick question.

You need a custom tune - nothing your mechanic can do, you need to hire a tuner. Best to use windows based laptop and not play with Bluetooth/phone for now.
