    6l80e 2010 (t43)

Hello, i have a T43 tcm i need to get working with a E92A (2017+) ECU. How can i find what OS is compatible, and where do i download them for HP tuners? is all T43 TCM made the same so i can flash the latest OS to it?

Currently i get the dreaded U0100 and U0101....

    Kind Regards Tonny

your probably gonna need to find a factory car that had those options & perform a full flash of the tcm.

Otherwise learn to delve into the code to find the CAN broadcast parameters & add the options to modify the broadcast data requirements. -This is obviously not an option for a lot of people, but it can be done. ;-)

Sure, but do a 2010 t43 accept a 2017+ os? If so then it's a non issue, but I don't think they are compatible

The repository was deleted due to....... .gov
Anyways you might find a stock file in there, or you might not. It is likely I have a few on my server. I'll check tonight if I can remember.

Not saying that at all. I have no idea if that will work. That is a HUGE difference in years. I gave the link thinking your answer would be there.

seems like the 24276638 is the one i need, tho i can't find any way to get the OS alone, or to only download TCM os even tho HP tuners said in 2019 that it was a top priority... i do not wanna throw credits into a file i do not use the ECM

HP tuners will not do a complete re/program. That will have to be performed with SPS/Techline Connect. Again I will see if I have any of those OS's as an HP tuner file on my server when I get home tonight.

If you have the two different VIN's then enter them into this separately and see if they are compatible as in the part numbers are the same.

Thank you! that is perfect, so the case and the valvebody have the excat same part numbers, and the TCM is a 24275873 on 2012-2019 and 24275874 on 2010-2011... so seems like a TCM is all that is needed. amazing news as a unknown state trans here is 2500usd and a reman is 7000...

HPT will, as long as you're talking only the TCM (not a Gen 4 ECM), either T42 or T43, without even costing any credits as long as the file you're writing to it is already licensed. Or a Gen 3 PCM, but that does cost credits to write an already-licensed file to a new/different serial# PCM.

There are no segments in the TCM that aren't also in the .hpt file, unlike the ETC segments in the ECM.

Ya know I keep forgetting that it will do the TCM. Seem to get my brain wrapped around the ECM/PCM's.
