Guys
Anyone had any experience on an NA FG 6cyl?
We've had one come in this week to do. It's a speedway sedan. Basically stock engine, extractors, big exhaust, pod filter and that's about it.
...
Good to hear the positives on those injectors. I was contemplating an upgrade from the 968's I have now and will probably go that way.
Care to share the set-up values you used?
Been thinking of doing the same. So much more in them.
Update: Been testing for a couple of weeks now by adjusting the aforementioned tables. Yes, it is possible to make it run leaner, but the overall process is inadequate for the purpose of creating...
Yeah, the scanner is useless unless you want to look at engine speed!
Great thanks. When we got the segment update done it came back all messed up and one of the biggest issues we had was with the convertor locking too early and pulling the engine down so somehow I...
Thanks for the feedback.
Google, do you have a decent sample tcc table?
Update:
The numbers in those tables need to be increased, and it goes ever so slightly leaner. Which table does what I will test tomorrow.
Yeah. Sure am. Everything is there it should need - the MAF is gone but the OS has not been converted, and the O2 sensors are also not there, but otherwise all good.
Yeah, I have my trusty old Autronic wide band in the car and have made the changes 'negative' but have not had a chance to go the other way as yet. Stay tuned.........(pardon the pun!)
Update: I will be doing some logging on the status of the shift solenoids etc to determine if the pcm is commanding the box correctly or if the problem is physical.
Here is a screen shot of what we have.
According to the 'help' description of these items, I got the impression that decreasing the bias would make it leaner - what is actually says is: "positive...
We have a pretty staunch LS1 engined car that we converted to 4L80E after mowing through a few of the smaller boxes.
Got it running pretty sweet, but a problem persists with the 2-3 shift under...
I had made some changes to both the tables to a degree of -25% and there was no obvious change to the end mixture. Bias is more a function of the sensor than anything else and I'd say no matter what...
Yeah, we have:
Bias Min
Bias A vs RPM vs Load
Bank 1 vs RPM vs Load
Bank 2 vs RPM vs Load
With reference to Bank2, the table is full of Zero's.
Bank 1 and Bias A are full of info.
Yeah, you'd think, but it doesnt. Changing that effects open loop only it seems
Yeah, but it could be better, and I am sure there is a lambda look-up table that just hasn't been revealled.
Any ecu I've ever tuned that runs anything resembling closed loop control always has a...
Unless it's me, it seems that the base fuel table is only for open loop.
I could be wrong, but no matter what I set the values to, it still likes to sit on lambda 1, so my question now is what...
In the engine>fuel>open&closed loop there is a tab for defining stoich air fuel, in AFR (which is surprising itself seeing as the maps are all lambda)
What exactly is it meant to do?
I am...
With reference to Australian Ford Turbo 6, (in particular F6 if it makes any difference.)
What is the ability of the closed loop control system with respect to limits of lambda?
I can see how...
PLUS 2 for knock anything in there.
VE table would be nice........
Luke what actual change did you notice by this change?
For the 968's in my BF I'm running high flow at 55lb/hr and low at 92lb/hr with breakpoint of 0.0000094
I set the low flow based on the best average STFT values.
Breakpoint needs some work, but...
Nor me.
