Stan, your correct the fpcm fuse is before the fpcm. It's weird that this is working, most people have found that the fpcm limits the voltage out regardless of the input voltage.

I had a kenn bell BAP wired after the FPCM and it worked great until it started blowing fuses. I believe it blew fuses due to the pulse width modulated input signal. Maybe the different brand BAP...
was it wired before or after the FPCM and what kind of power was the car putting out?
The resistor isn't needed. My FPCM is unplugged and I have no codes and no issues.
Maybe the OP needs to disconnect the FPCM if it is not already. . .
I had the same code come up when I disconnected the FPCM. I wasn't able to directly tune it out either since it doesn't show up in HP tuners DTC's.
I changed the following codes to "no error...
Yes I was running 70psi constant. To make matters worse my bap was triggered by a 0psi switch. It was most likely a combination of the high pressure and voltage that killed them.
I now have the...
Here's some more good info on the CTS-V pumps that I thought I posted here but I guess I only posted on Camaro5.
I ran the first set of pumps at 70psi (manifold referenced with 8lb of boost max)...
The CTS-V assembly has a mechanical relief valve just like the stock Camaro basket. I removed it and put in a solid machined plug that ADM supplied to ensure this valve isn't opening with my higher...
No I didn't move the pressure sensor but since I have the FPCM disconnected it doesn't matter. Without the FPCM hooked up the computer doesn't know the fuel pressure. It just defaults to around...
The regulator is up by the fuel rails. The wire to trigger the relays is one of the wires in the FPCM connector. . . I forget the color. PM me if you really need it, I'll pull the side panel and take...
Yup, the car works fine without it. Just unplug the FPCM delete any codes that pop up and build a return style fuel system. . .
I ended up ditching the FPCM and I'm running a setup from ADM. It's the ctsv fuel pump module set up in a return style system.
Both pumps see a constant voltage all the time and it's boosted to 17...
I am running this setup in my car. . .
A) ? mine only has one. I am running staight battery voltage to my pumps though- ditched the FPCM
B) Correct, but easy fix. Just cut the last 90deg bend...
My car does a similar thing, 2010 camaro.
After I flash the computer even if i did not make any changes tot he fueling the car will start up and the fuel trims will be way out like 10-15% where...
One way to do is with PE. Set the PE enable TPS to O% from 1,000 to 2,000 rpm, then command a slightly richer mixure in this area to eliminate the lean misses. This will leave ur idle in closed loop...
I don't have all your answers but here is some more insight:
1. At idle the lean condition is caused by fuel short circuiting the cylinder exiting from the open exhaust valve. The air you are...
I (and many others) have experienced the same problem after changing cams in an ls3. The bucking ended up being caused by lean misfires, apparently the ls3 is very sensitive to lean conditions, the...
I had the exact problem as the OP. I just put her in open loop and commanded about a .93lambda. . .She no longer bucks and the timing no longer jumps around, good call wstaab.
My assumption now...
Does the timing still jump up and down when using this open loop method?
Agreed ^^
Wataab,
are you saying that the cylinder is very lean but the oxygen is then mixing with unburnt fuel in the exhaust and burning so the wideband reads stoich?
After a quick google search of what causes cam surge I found some interesting info. . . People said it is caused by random misfires under the light load conditions. If this were our problem I'm...
I still think the surging is caused by eratic timing. Possibly there are tables or parameters in the computer that we do not have acces to that are causing the timing changes.
Maybe the timing was...
I think it's logical to conclude that if the car still surges without the erratic timing then maybe the timing is a result of the surge n not the cause.
So what else could cause this surging...
I think ur right but we obviously have somthing going on with our timing that isn't normal. My logs look like the timing is jumping from high octane to idle spark. I will try lowering my high octane...
