So with the cylinder volume in the tune being set for a 408 what could I do to get her to crank on her own?
Yep 366. Well i will either have to live with it or somehow tune the idle around it. It idles like a champ now just have to give her throttle to start. Annoying
If i change that will it mess up the ve table? It is set up to 22lbs of boost and really dont wat to mess that up. Thanks
Sbe 6.0
Cam is 7.5
Well, i have tried that among a ton of other things. I would love for someone to take the time to look at the tune file. I have gone up on air down on air, up on fuel and down on fuel. Timing etc...
Man, none of you guys care to help a brother out?
I have worked on all of the above until I am sick of it... anything stand out in the tune that could cause this issue?
the problem is the motor will not crank and run unless I hold the throttle while cranking. once it starts it will run fine with a good stable idle, now surging or idle hang. it will pretty much start...
thx

I have it cranking hot and cold. I wound up drilling a 1/4 hole in the throttle body blade because I could only get the idle screw to turn about a 1/4 turn and then it stripped. I still...

I have been tinkering on the 37 rat rod TT6.0 for a week now trying to get it to idle right. tune after tune after tune. today I started over with new tune from scratch supposedly right injector...
I bought a new 2 bar delco sensor and got it tuned in to 102 kpa with the key on. I had to add some air and she busted right off and idled.. the thing i noticed right off the bat is she seems real...
well I am getting somewhere.. I just installed a stock map sensor and put stock map data on her and changed the maf to mil on first error. It ran! but still wouldn't idle I had to hold it at about...
is there a map sensor I can buy at the auto parts that will work without splicing wires?
on the maf I had it set to no error reported, so I need to set that to mil on first error instead?
Ok guys I am currently working on another ratrod. This one is a 37 chevy truck with a 2002 LQ4 twin 62 turbos and the sloppy (jegs) cam and Deka 80 injectors and an ebay 2 bar map. I have been...
I could have copied my build sheet too but didn't see the point. I guess I have been told. lmao
well guys I got it figured out... very stupid mistake. 3 quarts of trans fluid and raising the etc rpm fixed it all. I guess I got so wrapped up in tuning on the computer that I forgot to check the...
I found the fuel cut. sorry I am a noob but learning.. ETC limit was at 5900 rpm, guess where the fuel cut happened. haha.. Now the only problem is how the tcc locks and unlocks constantly. any help...
