Thanks for all the help so far team. I'm making big progress.
I did a few more changes to the parameters to make them better match what was initially in the file for the truck's tranmission and...
I did a write all to the TCM from an 06 GTO 4L60E which I already had the license/credits for and I get communication to the TCM.

Comparing the outputs/inputs from the 15 pin and 17 pin...
I'll give it a shot.
Not much out of the stock tune for both units except for VATS delete, discrete fan setup, and some changes with the tire/gear wizard.

TL;DR - is there a compatability issue between the E40 and 17 Pin 4L60E T42? how to test for this?
The long version:
I am trying to use an E40 LS2 from a 2006 TBSS and a 17 pin 4L60E from a...
Also, I just checked the "Trans Input Shaft RPM" and I'm getting what seems like reasonable values when idling up and down the driveway.
Thanks MBray. I very slowely came to the same realization. I'm curious to what is communicated between the ECM and TCM and if I need to be concerned of a compatability issue? Is there any reason the...
Any thoughts? Symptoms seem to be in line with a tps problem but the voltage curve is smooth. Could the voltage range in the tps cause a violent 1-2 shift?
Here is the most recent tune. Nothing really changed from the stock tune, remove VATS, adjust fan parameters, and use the gear/wheel size wizard.

Thanks mbray
I'll get the tune posted later today. I didn't touch any of the stock parameters from the transmission, except for using the wheel and gear wizard.
I don't know for certain but I...
I've got a really hard 1-2 shift, more of a loud bang and a tire chirp than a shift. Are there any clues I can look for in the data to help diagnose the problem, if it is in the transmission or some...
No tuning yet. Just wanted it to start and run a couple seconds.
Thanks for the help everyone. It ended up being a fuel pressure issue, unrelated to the ecm.
Sorry, I forgot to mention that I didn't have the maf installed, but the engine should still start in a limp mode, shouldn't it?
From what I can gather in the log is that the timing is being cut (from 10.5 to -20) as soon as the RPMs get around 700, but I'm not sure why or what may be causing it.
yup, I've done a write entire. I even shut everything down and read again to make sure it took the changes.
2006 trailblazer SS LS2 and a 2009 Silverado 4L60E swapped into a 240Z. The Engine will start but dies shortly after (less than a second).
From what I can tell the fuel (and maybe the ignition?)...

I am trying to disable VATS on an E40 ECM but I don't have the option to "write all'. It sounds like this is a known issue with V3.0. Is this correct? what is the work around?
My thought is to...
