Looking at this, injector pulsewidth, and boost limit fueling need some work.. probably smokey the way the tune is now? Im not a fan of the timing map.. but its probably ok
My mpvi2 times out all the time on 03-05 trucks.. just have to keep trying until it actually goes through

His rail pressure is fluctuating thats causing the surge..
look at FCA duty cycle and fca current, figure out where it is surging and add to the DC to current table. when adding current makes the cp3 work less and wont overwhelm the fca

Its a 3" straight pipe all the way out to the back, and plugs are tr6 gapped at 22. Maybe the exhaust is too small? I'm going to check coils and plug wires today

Thanks for the reply! I ended up keeping rail pressure the same, lowering pulsewidth in the cruise area, also re enabled boost limit fueling.. Runs clean now!
