Damn. What a crazy build! Following this thread. Tuning nightmare Im sure. But what a build.
In Finland too. Need to get it ready soon to consume that cold fall air and let those blowers run!

Just wanted to post a follow up and final conclusion to this thread I started. Sent the TB into Nick Williams and got back?all fixed. Must have been something with the TB. But I have to give NW...
Interesting. That?s good info. I did not know that E50/60 is basically good to go. I guess I?ll stop my quest for finding anything higher and just be happy with the E60 I get at my local station.
E85 is good stuff. Amazing how much more power the extra timing can produce. I run 10 psi as well. Never see any KR. Best I?ve seen is 62% ethanol too. Would be nice to find some true 85%...
I?ve got a 2010 Kenne Bell Camaro. So very similar. I?m pulling around 23 degrees advance on E85. Only thing I?ll add is that I lowered my compression to 9:1 on my rebuild as opposed to stock...
Ok. So update here. I did email NW (that website in the post above is indeed the right place). They got back to me within 1 hour and said that it needs to come in for warranty repair work…and that...
How would I go about trying to find a number for Nick. Or even his company. I can?t even find a website for his company. I bought the TB from scoggins dickey
2010 LS3 E38 Camaro (build details in signature below). I have a 112mm Nick Williams throttle body on it. I noticed that during a full cold start (been sitting overnight) it starts and seems to...
My tuner told me he had to license the FPCM to make adjustments to it so that it wouldn’t throw code. I have no idea what this is or how to do it…but apparently it can be done. And must be done if...
You can trigger the main pump using the green/white wire coming from the FPCM. This allows the prime to happen when key on. (Note it doesn’t prime every time the key is turned on…only if it’s been...
Other than the PE table and the BE table?are there other settings somewhere that are multipliers to those tables that may impact commanded AFR? I got my car back from the tuner. Runs excellent. ...
I’m 9:1 compression and 10 psi of boost fellas. Right now…I’m 18 timing on pump gas. E85 is 24 degrees of timing. AFR is running at 12.3ish under boost. Which seems high to me. But it’s running...
So pretty much target the same AFR either way? If supercharged and targeting say…11.5 afr…then same for E85? Or lean it out a bit?
Thanks fellas. Appreciate the comments. But note that I’m supercharged. PE enrich in the 12’s is not for me.
Curious if there is any good reading out there that anyone can point me towards regarding E85 tuning? I?ve finally got my rebuilt LS3 Camaro back on the road and tuned by a local tuner. Of course,...
I think what he?s saying is that you should build that spike in airflow into your VE table to help the issue. I remember dealing with this as well and fixing it via the VE table in this low rpm...
Well ?they? would be ?me?. Because I did it. And somehow I must have messed it up. I left the timing cover loose and let the damper and seal center themselves together. Then tightened the front...
I?m running a vented crankcase catch can set up. So that?s all good.
This leak is really steaming me?
I was so careful when installing all this?
Got the bad plug wire pulled out. It was actually the dipstick tube that crushed the plug wire down onto the header. I remember doing it to get one of my coils on. My bad. Live and learn.
...
Thanks GHuggins. Very much appreciate your help. The tuner does have a eddy brake dyno so I?m sure he can dial it in completely. I?ll pull some timing out as you suggested.
I lowered compression down to 9.0:1 with my build. The timing in there is certainly lower than a stock ZL1 timing, which is also 9:1 compression. So I figured it?s safe there. Thoughts on that...
Just went out for a ride and did some logging with the misfire PID's logging. Here is the log file. Looks like I'm getting a ton of misfires in cylinder #4 under boost. So I guess I'll go look at...
Here?s some details:
Plugs are BR7ef gapped to .028
I?m not sure which cylinders are misfiring or why. I actually just got my engine rebuilt and put back together and fired up. I?m waiting...
So do I need to make 8 separate histograms using each cylinder misfire log against whatever parameters I want to log? Is the software fast enough to gather all that data?
I?m having some issues with misfiring under boost. I read that some people have created a graph or histogram to log misfires. I see the PIDs for misfire by cylinder. And misfire history by...
