I will pass that info on. Thank you for looking.
Recently installed a 4l80e in my Camaro behind a LQ4. Car was previously a T-56 car. 4l80e has the segment swap harness. I got a base tune to get the engine started and fluids circulating. I took the...
You talking about the at home course? Or can I get a book seperate?
What is the hptuners response speed?
Wideband in an Innovate LC2. When I installed the WB I had to install software for the WB and change the voltage/afr settings. I do remember seeing refresh rates if I'm not mistaken. Sounds like I...
Ok I'll look at those settings and see what I can come up with. Thx for the reply
I have dialed my wideband in as best I can. I think. I have the actual W/B reading about .1-.2 off from the reading I'm getting on my scanner.
The actual W/B reading is slow moving while the...
Looking for some quality books to read during my free time that'll help me really grasp the tuning process. If you have any that you'd like to sell I'd be interested in buying them. Thx
How did you figure my MAF is off by @ 10%? I'm not doubting you I'm just curious as to how you came up with that? I'm still learning. Thx
Dam, thanks for the input. I'll look these things over. Set is a simple 5.3l with a BTR stage 2 truck cam. Mild cam.
Current tune....
Can't figure this one out...
After tuning idle in park and in gear using LTFT'S the engine has a stumble when shifting from Drive to Park.
While scanning the TPS drops from 14% TPS 2% then back up...
I will know here in a few days. I already have the new servo. When I swap it I'll let yall know what I have.
Ok I thought I had this problem figured when I realized that I had the brown analog wire lined up to my interface. So I used the WB manufacturers suggested voltages for that particular analog output....
Come to find out I was using the wrong analog wire for those voltages.
Wideband = LC2
-Wideband (brown wire) connected to #2 connection on green clip on interface.
-Xtra analog wire ran from the #5 connector (ground) location on the interface to the same ground...

Thanks for the feed back.
I'm actually right now having trouble dialing in MAF table. Maybe the PE issues you mentioned are part of the problem. I will correct those and follow your...
This is my first ever tune. I'll take all constructive criticism. Vehicle is a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado 5.3L H/C/E 4L60e and convertor are both stock also.
That's weird. If it does it again maybe disconnect the battery and see if you can get a reboot or something. I would also double check the OBD2 port itself. Make sure the wiring is clean and...
Couple tips...but I could be dead wrong.
First get your VCM into SD/Open loop. (Google): "SD open loop hp tuners"
If you IAT is on your mass air meter you will have to leave em connected and...
I'm a noob too, but if I'm not mistaken you want to tune/dial in your VE table while in open loop/speed density. You don't want the MAF involved.
I was just doing this myself. I like to leave the "SES enabled" box checked on all 3 codes (p0101, p0102, p0103) when I'm in SD. I set the boxes to the right of the code to "1 mil on second" then...
We did our taxes last night....Uncle Sam is gonna keep me from making this class in April. Maybe I'll catch the next one.
Ok I went back into SD and returned the VE table via Stft's. I did this 3-4 times and the stft's are now in the -2 to 2 range. I believe thats pretty good.
Next I went to dial in the MAF...again....
Nevermind. LOL
