i found what works is to add more raf than you need, by roughly 5% so the ltit and stit are always negative, when the a/c engages it will go back to zero or close to it and wont drop.
Dynoed my car...setup is forged 8.5:1 ls1 with ecs blower cam, comp cams 921 dual springs with ti- retainers 7.425" comp cams pushrods, and pacesetter 1 3/4" long tubes into tsp catted y into 3"...
