Have seen this with mismatched ECM <> TCM OS's. They mostly work, but do random things like upshift/downshift at highway speed. Get OS match right, and all good. :o

If memory serves correctly they are the same ;)
Yes ;)
What is the service number of the E40?
GM speedo settings can be a black art. One may refer to wheel-speed sensor teeth. They are almost certainly auto settings, so try 12 in both if thats what you have.
Be interesting to see whether this works - tried VZ OS with T43 a while back and no luck.
Good luck.
What car do you want to put it into?
They are at Engine Diags, AIrflow, MAP sensor, right where you set slope and offset. :)
Normal local baro pressure should show at key on. HPT gives you the option of disabling the test or setting DTC's to no MIL or no error reported. Never seen any ill effects.
AFAIK there is nothing you can do about except set to NO MIL. You can recalibrate the range and offset for the sensor reading as you have done, but that doesnt recalibrate the diagnostic routine...
Disable spark smoothing?
Engine might be numbered in 06, but would not have gone into the car until it was manufactured. GM-H had a lot of excess 06/07 engines when GFC hit.
Silver TB blade used up to about March/April 09...
Many do disable burst knock, but griffincox is spot on. Burst knock is predictive knock prevention that works faster than normal KR can based on rate of airflow change from rapid throttle movements,...
E40 usually reads analog from the in tank sensors.
Ditto. :)
Thank you sir! :)
Bollox!
P0606 is a general DTC from the ETC controller 2nd CPU. A Tech II will read a bunch of sub codes to ID the problem exactly. If there is a throttle position error - i.e. the throttle blade...
P0606 is the throttle controller detecting a major throttle position mismatch. Though this could also be due to the throttle position error calibration or the throttle curves being adjusted outside...
If you are running a stock intake and MAF and the MAF cal is factory, yes more Hz = more airflow generally. Change the intake ducting prior to MAF and MAF cal would need to be revised.
In our experience it seems to be a standard feature of Holden tunes used in conversions - i.e. no BCM. Try setting the Hot Shift speeds to the same as normal and see if it resolves.
Issue still unsolved?
Still have this issue?
If your 09 ECM is a true 09, the OS's cant be swapped 09 <> 10. The service numbers need to be the same.
Ditto. The ECM interpolates the missing teeth to produce a 60 pulse per rev signal that is then divided according to the cal. :)
Yes on TCM required. Spark airmass axis. Doesnt appear to be editable.
