i guess that makes sense. is there a write up on how to do all of this with fords?
the maf table wont correct small fuel changes automatically? i wont be trying to max out the performance of it immediately, just want to get it running safely and keep fuel trims in check.
what tuning needs to be done for a custom intake? is it just a maf cal or is there more to it than that? 04 f150 4.6 2v new body style.

thats not stage 1 tuning, thats just making a 3bar sensor work. you need all of the stage 1 tables that are different from stock to have the stage 1 "tune".

no all of the parking brakes are crap on the kappas, even with slotted rotors, upgraded pads, and all of the slack taken out of the line. theres just not enough clamping force for some reason.

make one change at a time then log that way youll know exactly what change makes it mess up.
thanks but im not going to use a bigger pipe now. just found out that the stock maf (inside of the big bulky tube thing) has its own tube that i can reuse and attach a pipe to it to get rid of the...

that pic is from a guy on the sky forum. gmtech also did the same mod to his ic pipe. he claimed it was better than stock or any aftermarket intake on the market as it resulted in the smoothest maf...

almost, i have a 04 f150 with a 2v 4.6 thats a MAJOR dog lol. just waiting on the new scanner to come out so i can log knock and make timing adjustments. you any good at tuning fords?
will this also cause logging to be slow and glitchy? when i log its not a smooth continuous, it records in very short intervals. maybe a different problem?
