There are those that have tunes from early versions of HP tuners. Honestly if you have a diesel you need to use EFI live. Sucks for gas great for diesel. However they do have the same new...

How to put select the drive cycle in the scanner. Don't see it in any of the dropdowns. The picture I put in post 2 was one I pulled off the internet.
I know it has been a while but has anyone had any success in getting this to work? The Help section is vague to say the least. ...
"without bricking it".
No such thing. You take a risk every single time you program. Something can always go wrong. Battery voltage, laptop, another module happens to communicate during the write...
So you run them all zero and only look at the B1S1?
Pretty much two options.
1. Run an O2 in a left and right bank primary tube. It will only get fuel control from THAT cylinder. Not a great solution.
2. Run open loop with no O2 sensor input at...
Use a bidirectional scan tool and command the light on and off to determine if
1. The ECM has the ability to turn on and off the light to verify wiring and bulb condition.
2. The ability to drive...
Injector setup is wrong. You have this set up for a referenced reg. You don't give an injector so no way of knowing what the actual data is. That is just the start but one of the most important ones.

I know. Was attempting to correct two things he may have an issue with in post #25 that he may or may not see in his tune.
Do you see what was changed?
If it is a 412 GM injector then your data is wrong.
Here is a non referenced to your data.
You have a bit of tuning to do. You may want to start over with the correct injector data.

Time to check the pinouts for the fuel level sensor, check to see if it operates in reverse, (that can be changed) and of course perform the diag to see if you have a bad sender, wire, or connecter.
Usually the only thing you can do is disable the code. Have a car that has chronic TStat failures. Finally disabled it.
Can you go into a little more detail on what exactly you did you get these to be happy with each other?
They are all in my special Erod/GMPP folder so I will never get them mixed with normal tunes.
I have several E67 manual trans OS's Erod, GMPP stock tunes.

Brown wire is the ground wire for the 0-5 volt ANALOG output. It is not a "data" line AEM or CANbus. AEM and CAN are two separate forms of communication and should not be mixed. HP Tuners can use the...
Again, if you remove the communication lines to all other modules and have ONLY the ECM and TCM connected through the DLC given you have the 60 ohms on the CAN line then you can be sure you have...
Modules constantly send "State of Health" messages back and forth to give an indication of communication issues. When you flash the ECM/PCM or for that matter almost any module you can get false "U"...
Interesting. I was able to SPS the one I was talking about but again that was 7 or so years ago before TechLine Connect that I use now. SPS recognized it right away. I did the Replace and Reprogram...
Somebodies doing an awful lot for beer money.
You're a good guy SiriusC1024. Hope he appreciates this level of help.
From what I understand there is a bunch of behind the curtain stuff on the crate motors. I struggled with one about 7-8 years ago only to discover there where things I would attempt to change and it...
I would connect the CAN lines specifically to the TCM/ECM only. Remove all others on the network and recheck. Might be a communication protocal that is VERY likely different between those years that...
This is what sucks about Duramax tuning with HPTuners as opposed to EFI Live. If you have a tuned EFI Live tune and then attempt a mod with HPTuners you may end up deleting your "special...
