I have helped thousands of people over the last decade. 05 is a NGC3 anyways...
Hi everyone- I don't always check this forum. Long story short, PCM was corrupt, new PCM and hptuners and customer was good to go.
I can tune them but it has to be with SCT or another software, not HPTuners.
Ditos,
Any update to this?
I had a similiar issue on an 05. I finally got a P0068, but have no idea how to fix.
I've done numerous 4.7s.
I'm sorry but that tune is looking pretty rough. I'd like to take a stab at straightening it out. Email me at [email protected]
You are local to me. Was your truck previously tuned with Diablosport?
Dealing with a 13 Ram , VVT cam, phaser limiter, bolt ons, etc.
No matter what I do to rev limiter or speed limiter, it till not rev past 6k max.
I've seen this now on multiple trucks, all 13 6...
I have tuned a ton of I6 Jeeps , have done a few of the 05-06s.
Mark, if I find time today I will try to see if I have one. I think i do.
Is there something you need to look at specifically?
Have you checked the bypass valve operation? I went through hell trying to figure it out, I would not wish this kind of frustration on any professional calibrator !!!
Hi John, some of this has to do with injector timing. HPTuners does not show this on VCM editor.
I went thru this with a Whipple Durango I did remotely. Everybody kept telling me it was the neural network blah blah. It was a faulty bypass valve.
I've tuned quite a few of these 4.7s over the years with SCT. They usually don't need a ton of work on VE. Set your PE, play with timing, and you're golden.
The last NA 4.7 I did made 312 whp on...
Update to this. The bypass actuator was defective.
My 2016 personal Scatpack runs at 12.0 AFR and peaks at around 18-19* timing. I have found minimal gains going leaner on customer cars, but not worth it to me.
I am at the limits of my patience with this vehicle.
2015 Dodge Durango
Whipple SC
ID 850s
Water/Meth (not currently on)
Longtubes
The vehicle drives GREAT except for between .9 and 1.3...
I can do it with SCT, it cannot be done with HPT.
As I do more and more newer DCX platforms, I'm getting more and more complex builds.
I have been leaving "Torque/Airflow" Factor and Offset tables stock on everything I'm doing. I understand they...
I tune everything with NN on.
JTEC is not supported. I can do these with SCT.
We wanted to resolve the issue before setting it up on the dyno. Reason being, the shop I'm tuning it for is using a dynapack....alot of work to not finish the job . The miss also wreaks havoc with...
I can tell you that I am having a very similiar issue on two Whipple'd Hemis. I have 25+ hours into a 15 Durango. I believe we may be making progress but it has been nothing short of infuriating.
