You need to do the infolog with the latest beta.
You can PM me with the MPVI3 serial number, but I think we already set you up.
1996 is a 112K EEC-V. I'm working on getting those added this week. Take an infolog and post it in this thread, and I'll get you added.
Ask and ye shall receive!
Why do you think they are limiting it? If you can't think of a good reason for it, I'll look at patching it out.
If there is need for this, I can map the 23 so you guys can get the data from it.
If it happens it will not be soon. The team that handles that is tied up with other projects. We were lucky to get a fix in MPVI3.... had to pull some teeth.
Added 98 Crown Vic / Towncar today since someone requested it CRAIC is the strategy. Now in the latest beta.
I'll get it added. You don't need credits to read / datalog / pull an infolog, but I don't need it. I'll get that strategy in queue to add.
What is your injector duty cycle showing? I've not seen a case where someone can't get all of their injector when dealing with the port side.... DI side there is some hard coded crank angle start...
I see now, its a V6. I'll get it added this week (fingers crossed)
Unless thats a V6 code, its already supported
My first question is.. can you keep it running if you open the throttle a little instead of leaving it at idle?
Likely the idle airflow is too far off. It will adjust only a certain amount from...
I looked into the math behind it. That variable basically holds the max pulsewidth for the port injection, taking into account the min and max crank angle it can spray (hard coded values), and also...
Bumping this back to the top. If you have EEC vehicles you want supported, open a support ticket with either a read or infolog of the vehicle and I'll get it added ASAP.
The OSID has been edited to prevent it from opening in our software. The solution would be to have the tuner send you the file (if they will) with the original OSID in place.
I added it. Download latest beta in an hour.
You will be able to read/write with the MPVI2, but scanning isn't great.
Its ready to go. You need an MPVI3 and the EEC firmware. If you DM me your serial number, I'll get you the firmware.
What lighting forum is this posted on?
Post the file
I've ramped up on EEC-V vehicle support. Since you need a special firmware for the MPVI3 for these currently, new vehicle support will not be on our supported vehicle list. Once the release firmware...
Yes. Plan to add all EECs eventually. Doing the most popular and working back. Marauder is high on the list.
All Lightnings and Harley trucks are supported now.
Whipple has graciously provided me with their spreadsheet, and they do have a calibration to match up with each and every calibration, so they do not run into these problems.
Like the 2024 Mustang, companies like Whipple have contracts in place for Ford to do their calibration work, and their calibrations are signed just like the OEM calibration. That is how they have...
