The 4l80e has a very tall first gear. Those speeds sound reasonable depending on the axle ratio, tire size, rpm. They set the shift speeds way low in 2500s.
Disable ltft and dfco. Get a log and see how it looks.

See if this gets you starting, idling, no flashing cel at idle. Make sure dfco is off while tuning ve and maf.
