I agree. I've had that problem and it was it was a leak on the control line at the bypass.

Solved the problem by deleting every HPT file and folder I could find and then did a full reinstall.

Which folder should I save new tunes to so that they are polled. I know Bill
has mentioned it, but I can't find the thread.
Thanks for your help,

Knock Retard disappeared from my PID list. How do I get it back??
BJK
What version of HP Tuners are you using?

Just a heads up for those interested in the new PLX SM-AFR Gen 4, PLXDevices.com has a Black Friday special on these with $50.00 off.... $159.99 instead of the normal $209.99.

Okay, I got it sorted out this morning. Basically what I was doing is opening the "VE TABLE" window, then selecting the LS2 2.5 bar format and then going outside the program to open the sample folder...
It stops when I click to open the BEQ (OEM) LS2 file. I wants me to find something to open it. I am a MAC guy first but I can use window. I'm thinking the samples folder is probably in the wrong...
I have been able to work with everything in this program, but I can not get any of your included generic starting ve tables to open. What am I missing?

From what I was able to scrounged up on the internet it appears the E10 is .791 gmL at 20*C.

Here is one of the threads: http://www.hptuners.com/forum/showthread.php?42780-Fuel-economy-scaler

Don't have those numbers, but they did show up in one of the threads on this topic.
No, the fuel used calculation will be in error if it is using the density number for say gasoline and you're running E85.
BJK
That is what most everyone thought when this feature first became available, but in fact it has to do with how any given injector's flow rate changes with a change in fuel density.
BJK
Yes.

I don't know for sure if this is the data I need.
BJK
Yeah, I used to have the ford data that racetronixs put on their site, but I dumped it when I got the GB DVD. Now I'm having trouble finding it on the net. I'll come across it sooner or later.
BTW,...
Do you happen to have a sheet for the SD 60. I have the GB CD and would like to compare.
Thanks,
BJK
It seems to be a very common practice in the tuning books/manuals I have read.
