Boosted Ls guys step in: IAT vs Timing on E85

So understanding that E85 has better cooling properties that is not really measurable from the IAT. Knowing this how much timing are you pulling if any once the air temps start to climb on a pull? I'm currently staying safe starting at -1 deg at 160 to -5 deg at 200 iat Some racers I hear are not pulling any timing on e85 for climbing intake heat.

ive never seen over 75c deg iat on e85 even on a 40c deg day so i started to take 1 deg out at 80 and 2 at 90 and so on just to be safe encase, but if u find u run hotter iat and it dosnt affect knock or torque then no need to remove timing, i find e85 very resistant to knock u may loose torque before u see any
