Laptop died while reading a PCM

I'm not sure if the computer died or what, but while reading a friend's Chevy Colorado I got a black screen. The truck is fine, but my hp tuners will no longer read or write tunes on any vehicle. It won't connect to any vehicle. I've tried searching for possible solutions here on the forum. I haven't found an answer. I appreciate any help.

Try to rewrite the config to the interface. It helped me once in a similar situation.
