F150 manual valve body auto conversion need help

So I have a 05 f150 with the 5.4 that has had the valve body turned to full manual that i'm trying to tune for my boss. Here is what i have tried so far. Every time i change the automatic field to none. as soon as i start the truck it sets a p061c and goes in to limp mode.I have tried with the transmission strategy set at 0 and 1. There is no manual trans trans PCM option since this has the 5.4 which never came with a manual. I would be fine if i could just disable the limp mode. With the pcm set with automatic but strategy set to 0 or 1 it will drive okay through 1st and second but as soon as it has been in 3rd for a few seconds it goes into limp mode. i have tried turning codes off but it still goes into limp weather it reports to code or not. please help
