"Download Boot Loader: Request Download x7F Negative Response Code"

Just bought and received the MPVI Pro. Installed drivers and program as suggested without any issues.

When attempting the first read on my vehicle (2005 Cadillac CTS-V), I receive the error "Download Boot Loader: Request Download x7F Negative Response Code"

From searching the forum it is suggested the vehicle might have an electrical problem or a previous tune. I bought the vehicle a few months ago and was never told about a previous tune, but it is my hunch this might be the case.

Am I stuck? Do I have to purchase a new PCM? What can/should I do? :banghead:

Wasn't using the latest version of VCM Suite.

After upgrading to 3.4 I was able to Read successfully,
