I read your question because it still showed up in my RSS reader. I don't have a vvt car but I'm still curious what your issue was if the don't mind.
The phaser limiter was in the wrong slot, and doesn't allow the advertised amount of retard. It allowed a total of 13* (crank timing*) in the smaller slot, and in the bigger slot would allow 18*. We cut the cam for the full 22*, so we are doing something different regarding the limiter.Quote:
