Using 2002 Chevy Blaser 4.3L V6 PCM to run LS1 engine?

I have been given an LS1 PCM to run an LS1 Gen 3 engine but when i have connected to the PCM the config is for the Chevy 4.3L V6 engine. :shrug:

I have opened a compare file from a 2002 5.7L V8 and copied the engine information like Cylinders, Firing order and engine size but i am getting back firing through the throttle on crank which tells me Im way off.... :banghead: Any help would be greatly appreciated.

u must do a seg swop and then copy

Im using a 0411 pcm from a 2002 s10 myself and had to flash the original operating system in for a 2002 camaro ls1. Thats the best way to do it. But it needs to be done with GM Tech2.

I plan to do this in the future when I swap out my 4.3l for the 6.0l that I have. So I would be interested if you got this to work.
