How To Purchase Tunershop Packages

Step 3. Licensing your credits
In most cases, we can simply license an unlimited vehicle group.
Unlimited vehicle group licenses will allow you to tune all vehicles that fall under that vehicle group category.
In cases where an unlimited vehicle group is not available for a particular group of vehicles, we can choose a year/model approach for that group.
Year/Model type licenses will work on an unlimited number of vehicles of that particular model and year.
Lets get started.
If your shop tunes many GM V8 Gen III Cars, you may want to license the unlimited vehicle group to cover all of those vehicles. If you license the GM V8 Gen III Cars vehicle group, you will be able to tune all vehicles that fall under that vehicle group an unlimited number of times. Those vehicles include all the vehicles listed in the group below, and any vehicles we may add to that group in the future.
Notice the highlighted line, this line indicates that GM V8 Gen III Cars requires 30 credits to license.
If your shop tunes many GM V8 Gen III Trucks, you may wish to purchase enough credits to cover that license as well.

If your shop tunes many GM V8 Gen IV Cars, you may wish to purchase enough credits to cover that license as well.

Note: The vehicles covered by the vehicle group have been removed to save space.
If your shop tunes many GM V8 Gen IV Trucks, you may wish to purchase enough credits to cover that license as well.

If your shop tunes many GM V8 Duramax Diesel Trucks, you may wish to purchase credits for those licenses also.
You will notice in the vehicle group below, there is no unlimited vehicle group option available. However, in this case, to cover 01-05 Chevy Silverado / GMC Sierra 6.6, we can purchase enough credits to cover a year/model license for each of those years.
There are 5 year/model licenses required to cover the 01-05 span, and at 6 credits each, you will need 30 credits total.

This part is very easy. You simply read any vehicle that falls under the vehicle group you wish to license, or the year/model you wish to license.
After doing so, you will be prompted with a license activation screen that looks like the one below:
If you chose the unlimited vehicle group license approach, simply select that option and click commit. You will then have access to all vehicles that fall under that vehicle group.
If you select the year/model approach, when an unlimited vehicle group license is available for that vehicle group, you will receive 75% of your used credits as credit toward the applicable unlimited vehicle group upgrade, as described on the Credit FAQs page.
