    Configuration & Histogram Repository

Here is my configuration for an LS2 A4.

Its setup to calculate torque - Torque.hst
Has a user pid for an LM-1 which is set to 0-5v, 10-18 afr. You will just need to set your offset.

I would also upload an excel sheet for an ls2 ve, but its too big at 350k.

    Configuration & Histogram Repository

All right guys, here's the Gen-IV Config & Histogram section!
    2005+ Gen IV's only! No LS1/LS6/LQx/LR4/LMx/L59 please!

As many of you have already noticed LS1's are the default when it comes to the config files & histograms for the most part. Here you can post what configs have helped you along. Include in your post with this format:

    Year
    Make
    Model
    OS
    Vin
What the config is for? Idle tuning, SD tuning, MAF tuning, General

If your post is missing anyone of those it will likely be deleted since I need that info to verify its a working configuration.

If you have custom histograms you'd like to post as well feel free. Same info is needed.

NOTE: Do not open the .cfg or .hst files with anything but the scanner.

The .cfg (configuration files) go in your:
    C:\Program Files\HP Tuners\VCMSuite2 Directory

The .hst (histogram files) go in your:
    C:\Program Files\HP Tuners\VCMSuite2\Histograms Directory

Here's an 05-LS2 (any) config for tuning with either STFT only (LTFT disabled) or with AFR Error. Enjoy!

EC, I tried your cfg, and ilooks like this is good to take care of VE % Maf Tuning. I guess you recommend adjusting your VE table with STFT rather then LTFT right? Is there a reason behind that?

Now that I have the MAF hi/lo values in the histograms what do I need to do in order to apply them to the tune?

Also what's that KR under EIO Output for?

just make sure your logging maf in hz otherwise the maf histo wont work.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

    Here's an 06 LS2/LS7 config. Also works on 07's.

    Here's a "generic" E38/E67 V8 config and a couple histos.
I don't have the Main Spark Calc Burst Knock in the histo's on the E38/E67 config but you can load it easily enough.

    Also a couple custom PID's

How do you get the HP histo to work? I get Unsupported parameters on both the Plot value, and the x and y axis?

Also, can someone upload the MPG histogram and cfg? I can't figure out how to get it to work on an LS2.

You need the custom PID added to your config as well.

Read the help file about custom PID's. Then copy the text I placed in the TXT file above.
    EG:
EQ Ratio Error is the name of the custom PID
EQ Err is the abbreviation for the chart
    Pick % as the value
    100*((([SENS.120]/14.7)-[PID.68])/[PID.68]) is the formula.

    2008 E38/E67 configs

This config & histograms should work on most 2008+ vehicles with the E38 or E67 PCM. Should even work on V6 engines too but it's untested on the V6's.

Alright, I've got to ask. Whats the idea behind the EQ Ratio Error?

Do I need these to log LTFT & STFT on my '08 C6?

Ok does anyone have a config file and a histogram that will work with a 2009 G8 GXP.

None of the ones in this thread really work, most of them will log the main spark adv and KR but that is all that works once I try to watch the run.

I would like one that logs:

    Main Adv
    KR
    IAT temps
    STFT
    LTFT

I guess any others that would be recommended would nice. I am trying to log some runs with the car to nail down some WOT issues that happen as soon as you stab the throttle.
