1st SD 2 bar DRIVE, opinions please

Guys I felt good with the idle so I decided to take it for a quick spin around the block for the fist time. I would like everyones opinion. I adjusted the TB blade and the IAC are in order now so that part is done.

Should I have the data from the histogram show average or last value? Still very new at this, but I see all kinds of AFR in the same cells??

    ANY FEEDBACK is welcome

i think you may want to revisit your histogram. i know there is many ways to log this but i hope your not really seeing 50% lean error. your using your filter for your % error. i , instead make a custom pid then plot that in the histo(and the table) , then i use the filter to narrow down my percent error so transitions don't plot. the string looks good.i also use pid 6001 afr hi res and bracket location matters also.

Having your temp Bias table 1.00 all the way across is your problem... you need to start off with something like this:

As airflow increases the temperature needs to bias more towards the IAT. The whole philosophy behind the bias table is to alter the calculated air temp as airflow decreases. Basically sitting still idling the engine isn't moving much air so the engine has more time to heat up the air entering the engine. This is where the bias comes into play. At lower airflow the temp is bias'd towards the ECT because it is the engine temperature that is heating the air up. At higher airflows the air is rushing in much faster and the engine has less time to heat up that incoming air thus the result is to use a bias closer to actual IAT readings.

Rob I don't know why but I can't view any info from histo 6 on? On your MPG histo the pid shows up as unsupported parameter for me. I downloaded the CFG and viewed the log.

Also trying to set up the AFR error like you suggested, but I am having some difficulties still.

I think i got you homey. download and save this cfg. then run one of your old scans through it and watch histo 9 . you are fairly close. i ran your firstdrive.hpl through it and your at most 10 % off ,at temp, and only in a few cells. set your temp bias table back like z said (he is a MAN). as far as the mpg histo goes. you have to make sure you are logging every thing in the pid string in your table. also as far as interpreting the data i like to use the charts mode with afr from your wideband overlaying commanded afr so you can easily see transitional errors that don't really represent true ve value.

Rob thanks man, when I look at histo 9 the pid shows "unsupported parameter" is that logging Air fuel ratio error? Of course wher AFR error is usually at in the table says the same thing "unsupported paramenter".

also as far as interpreting the data i like to use the charts mode with afr from your wideband overlaying commanded afr so you can easily see transitional errors that don't really represent true ve value.
Rob how do I set this up? Before I would just open histo 9 and see AFR error between commanded and True AFR and use the percent half to change the values in the VE table, that right?

    Thanks again for helping me.

Using my SD tuning config this is the info I get from my histograms, is this what you see in your histograms too?

Histo 9 is WB/commanded AFR Error

    Histo 6 is WB AFR

Also do most of you guys tend to use Average or Last value? I used last value to tune the idle since it was instant, but I suppose average is best for all other cells?

i am glad you posted the screen shots. i was not seeing that. it seems that if i allready have a custom pid number consumed in my scanner then yours (or any different one) won't read. i tried the one i made for you at work here at home and it was a no go. and yeah i would use average and as far as the charts goes. just open it and right click and go to chart settings and modify so that your commanded and your actual afr are in the same group with the same units.
