Thread: new throttle opening rate table E40/38/67

new throttle opening rate table E40/38/67

    Guys,

I've added new opening rate table for the throttle, GM has started calibrating them more agressively on some applications. The table controls the ramp rate of the throttle on opening.

It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

Sooo.... On my E67 can I slow down the rate in 1st, which is only useful for starting off and driving like the old man that I am; otherwise nothing but wheelspin.

yeah the tables are Opening Rate vs. RPM. Generally on the cals i've seen it calibrated the lower RPM's say 1000-3000 can have rates like 1%-5% and only at higher RPM does the throttle rate increase to 100%.

From what i understand the purpose of these tables is to improve driveability by making the throttle less responsive at lower RPM so it's easier to navigate parking lots for the driver, LOL!

i think this one table will reduce my 1/4 mile time by like 3-4 tenths just by itself. I can't wait.

Nope, if its set to 100% thats what its set at in your calibration. No reread necessary.

    What are the redundant pairs?

  17. #17
i assume you are talking about the LS1 tables we added awhile ago? if so don't worry, the editor automatically updates both, the redundant tables are not visible. I need to update the help.
