    2007 TBSS tune.

I have a pretty good tune for the 2007 TBSS (actually, it's better than any mail order tunes from the feedback I have gotten.)

Feel free to use it, the shifts are near perfect at almost any speed (although there is still room for improvement) and engine response is absolutely great. If you have any cam/exhaust/head work that you have done MAF tuning for already, just modify to use your existing MAF and VE coeficient parameters. The MAF/PE values in my tune here are stock.

This tune pretty much works as is for CAI and cat back as well.

Nail any loose items down before testing this tune or they WILL hit the back tailgate!

Makes me almost wish I had a TBSS to run that tune in ... it looks very nice!

I especially like the slight change you made to the traction control tab: Enable Temp = 493F.

(Who needs Traction Control at lesser coolant temps anyways.)

LOL...That's almost where the whole 2-3 MPG gain comes from.

Hehe. Well, I didnt steal it now. I stole it last time you sent me your tune.

In closed loop, I took my 07 Monte SS from 26hwy to 30hwy. I use DoD (as stock does, but with different settings) + significantly more part-throttle timing + your PE throttle/MAP settings.

In open-loop I can eek-out close to 36hwy if I nuke driveability, but get crappy city mpg. Working on it again though.

Hehe...40+ HP more than the competitors tune on same dyno. I'd say it worked, especially for doing it in 99ยบ weather. 374 RWHP on a damn near stock TBSS is not bad, especially when bone stock they push around 320 RWHP in cool weather. Of course, he has UD pulleys and E-Fans to help. (I may have to try the UD pulley myself one day). And it'e really good considering the motor itself is a net rated 395 HP from GM.

So this will only work for 93+ octane? What should I do having only 91 Octane?

Just do some scan logging and KR correction to the H.O. timing table to tune it for 91 octane. Won't make quite as much power but will still be pretty good.

    1/4 mile ???

Has anyone ran this tune on a 1/4 mile track yet? I would like to get an idea of how much faster I would go.

BWL101 did just that. He went from 13.7 with a 'vendor' tune, then put my tune in and ran a 13.301.
