    Paste Special Muliply % Overshoot

Ok when I am tuning my truck via wideband and I log my afr error against either the ve or maf and say I have an afr error of -8 and I do a paste special multiply by % into the table and then upload the tune and go for a drive and log it always overshoots by quite a bit like if I was at -8 then I will be at like a +10.

Has anybody else experienced this? It doesnt seem to want to overshoot if I use the paste special by half instead. Am I doing something wrong here?

I was under the impression you are suppose to use the "paste special - add" in that case?

no, you multiply when using %, most will recommend pasting by 1/2 just so you dont overshoot unless your VE is REALLY far off ie 20% or something.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

Ok, yeah when I use the 1/2 it works out good for me. Thanks for the reply.

So since I have been working on my VE table using LTFT + STFT special paste add into the table, should I load up my first one and start over using the multiply 1/2 %?

Nope, just work with what you have now. Otherwise you're going back to the beginning. Now if you're totally lost the stock file is a good place to start.
