Folks, new turbo build is having issues. It is acting like it is blowing out the spark, but we have regapped the plugs and still have the issue
What it does, it as soon as it hits 9lbs of boost, the car starts cutting out. It seems like we can run boost into any rpm range and any throttle position until we hit 9 lbs, which often occurs near 4000 rpm when we try to log/tune
The car is a 2006 gto
stock 6.0 bottom with a 232/232 blower cam
78mm turbo
83 lb injectors with an external pump and return system with a boost reference regulator. At idle it is right around 60 psi
the plugs are tr6 plugs gapped to .028
I think we are either blowing out the spark, or there is a weak ground that is causing the car to act up
However, I wanted to attach my tune and see if you guys see something I might be missing
This has been scaled for the injectors, and is in olsd mode since we are in the middle of tuning.
I unfortunately somehow do not have my logs, but when the cut out occurs, the a/f is generally around 11:1 and 14 degress of timing with no knock retard. So plenty of fuel and not a ton of spark. Also, no cel's to help point to anything
Thanks for any help
