Making your LS1 with a stock cam sound like a car with a big cam at idle

Guys, this question was raised with one of my friends, personally I told him to never call me again until he bought a cam but i'm now curious what you'd have to do in order to achieve this. In your idle tables you could pretty much set a lower idle, remove some timing. This should make the car sound "unhealty" like some big cams do. Any comments?

Pretty much what everyone is elluding to is that the stock cam has excellent idle airflow qualities, something that the tables in the ECM will not be able tobe modified to simulate a rough idle like on larger overlap cams. I played around with idle settings, years ago when I was trying to understand the idle control, and I was amazed at how the stock cam idled with no idle control (only target idle), it will not be "lumpy", not even at 400 rpms. Only way to get a "lumpy" cam is to increase the overlap.

Or crank on the over/underspeed idle spark...
But then you would have an unstable idle not just a lumpy one. LOL

Then it would be like a cammed car. Now how to simulate the unexpected stalling?

How do you simulate me eating a hundred dollars worth of sushi, 70 bucks worth of budlight, and me going home with the bar owner's daughter? If we can put that into an Hp tune then I am all for it. Hell I will buy you a big cam for that miracle.

zero either the over or underspeed and crank up the other. or put a few holes in you idle timing section of your map and add fuel to your ve in patches around it. but would be easier to fit a cam
