strange problem any help is welcomed thanks.

My car is a 1998 Z28 Camaro, 226/236 cam, with bolt ons, TR6 plugs.

Now my problem is my quarter mile time is 13.5 at 106 with a 60 foot of 2.3, I have excellent traction. I am getting 3 sometimes 4 degree knock retard on launch and it does not go away till the end of the track. Now remember it Is about 100 degree at night, we are in Las Vegas Nevada.

98's are known to have sensitive knock sensors. You could replace them with a newer set and harness and help eliminate the knock. As you know, knock takes away timing which is power. I am not familiar with converters so I can't help there but with the nittos make sure you are heating them up good so they stick. What do you have done suspension wise to help with traction?

i'm no expert but your IATs are insanely high. 142*!? i'm sure that is contributing to your knock retard and timing being pulled. you might want to look at what you can do to pull in cooler air. your MAP seems a little low too so the intake in general isn't passing air like it should.

My suspension is mostly stock minus I have a pan hard rod, urethane bushings. and a heaver sway bar.

Better lower control arms will help with launch. And yes, 142 IAT's are really high, it's pulling a lot of timing based on that alone.

Please anyone take a look at my file attachments, see if perhaps there is something wrong with my tune.

there's some weird stuff going on there from what i can see. his MAP seems low at WOT (93 kPa max) but like 69 kPa at idle? he also got 9* of KR the second his car started. if you look at his WOT run even tho it shows 100% throttle towards the end his RPM drop and his injector duty drops also. i've never seen that with mine. i looked at your PE and it's set really rich (11.5:1) if your VE table is right.

If any one see anything the would like to change to my tune file please do so.

i'd really like to see what your air fuel ratio is when you're going WOT. from your tune i'd say that your tuner just monkeyed the PE without tuning the VE table making it impossible to see or modify what's going on with that. i don't know '98 LS1s so i don't know much about their knock sensors. i see that mine on a '04 LS1 are not set as sensitive. the high MAP at idle makes me wonder if you have a vacuum leak too. i wish there was more i could do to help but i think you need to log with a wideband and/or get another tuner.

I cleaned up your post, there was a lot of useless info in there.

You do not need TR6 plugs and 2.2-2.3 60' times on an auto with DR is not good at all.

Your car needs to be tuned, that is a lot of your problem. Look at your fuel trims at WOT, they are +5/7. Before you worry about anything else get a good tune in there.

    I have already payed two **s Hole's

I hired a second tuner because the first tuner screwed up things, I payed the first tuner but he refunded my money, I payed the second tuner. I don't have the money to pay another pathetic tuner that does not know what they are doing. I am running fat most of the time my gas millage sucks. thanks.

You are asking for help, I told you your problem. You need a full tune properly done on the car.

purple with LTFT's in the plus some of your knock retard could be from running too lean. Before you go replacing knock sensors for new ones I would take WS6's advice and tune it correctly.
I briefly looked over your tune and found the following concerns
#1 you MAF table, has a rough transition right about 7200 Hz, the MAF table should always be a smooth curve. This is also an indication your MAF table is not tuned properly.
#2 You PE table seems to be making up for the lean condition. The PE table should be set to what desired AFR you want at WOT then tune your MAF/VE to reach this. Example 1.13 = 13:1 commanded AFR at WOT. you have 1.2xx in most of your table which is like 11.5:1 commanded AFR
#3 You have a majortiy of your IAT Spark correction tabled zero'd out. Even tho you left a few at -3 at 90+ KPA, you are not seeing 90KPA imediatly when you step on the gas. That could be a reason for some knock at launch.

I think a majority of your problems are caused by incorrect fueling, IE MAF and VE table errors.

    Hope this helps
