    Back for some more.

    This is where I am.....

565rwhp (SAE Corrected)/ 565rwtq (SAE Corrected) on a Mustang dyno. I do know that this dyno is super hard on anything making over 480rwhp. That aside, I still think the power is low. I was expecting atleast 600rwhp, with 650rwhp being the max with the current fuel system/injectors. AFR is flat at 11.9:1 AFR (pump gas), and timing starts at 20degrees, and steps up to 23 by 5200rpm (picked up 40rwhp going from 19 degrees to 20 degrees, then the HP increases have been lower ever since, picking up only 5hp from 22 to 23 degrees). There is no KR, plugs look good. Car sees 180KPA, fuel pressure falls to about 45lbs, Injector cycle is @ 88%. Car is a 402 with 9:1 compression, blower cam, and stock 243 casting heads. I will post the log and the file tomorrow when I get back to the laptop, but I was just wondering if anybody had any idea of what I may be overlooking. Car feels exceptionally strong and clean on the dyno, and the torque curve is very impressive, just by 5800rpm the HP starts flattening out.

    Thanks Guys

10 lbs of boost in a 402 and stock heads I would think could make 650 or so. If that dyno is loading the car up that much, you may not be off. Go to the track, see what it really does, just as long as you dont screw up the run like I tend to do lol

Well if 650rwhp is expected out of a DynoJet, then I can almost except 560rwhp from this dyno. A GTO the dyno'd 422rwhp on this dyno, two days later made 458rwhp on a DynoJet. It just seams low to me either way. The dyno is only appling 577lbs of force against the car (PAU Force) which isn't too bad. Anyway, here's the scan and the file from the best pull.

I think I'm going to attribute the low numbers to the clutch. Second pull on the dyno today, and it smoked so much the fire department show'd up. Finally got 580rwhp out of her using 93% duty cycle, which is closer to what I was expecting.
