    Connection problem..

    Hi. I've been using hptuner on my car for some time, put yesterday when I was tring to connect to the VCM It gave me a message saing that there is an upgrade firmware. so I followed the steps to upgrade the firware and during the upgrade it gave me this message " License validating failed" !!. what should I do?

    Follow the instructions for firware upgrades. IIRC you disconnect the MPVI and then start up the scanner and click connect. If the firmware upgrade didn't take the first time, just try again.

    I followed all the instructions put always keep stoping the upgrade. Moreover now when I try to connect it gives me this message " Unable to verify VCM " !!

    make sure your computers usb ports are usb 2.0 compliant or just use a computer that is 2.0 compliant to update the firmware.
    It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

    You can also install the software, drivers, etc on a desktop PC and do it from there.
