I put Long Tubes, Cats/x-pipe and intake system on an 05 Mustang GT and it went way rich. What are the options, if any, to lean this puppy out. It's throwing codes for the cats because of the rich condition.
thanks.

Almost all CAI kits on those cars make them run lean, and require a retune.
Not quite sure I understand the response. It definately needs a retune, but I need to lean it out. Also, what can I use to lean it out or is there someone I Can send the ECM to for programming?
Thanks

You must have any '05+ Mustang retuned when you change the CAI, period! What CAI did you install, curious?
Please call us at our shop so we can discuss with you the various tuning options. 251-479-9451 (anyone may help you when you call). Monday thru Friday, 9am to 6pm CST (10am to 7pm EST). You can visit our custom tuning support website here, as well:

I've been tuning the newer Mustangs since their release, and they are actually fairly easy to tune out perfectly.
Thanks!

If the car is truly rich then you really need some tuning to make the O2s work now that they are much farther away from the engine, in addition to tuning for the intake.

You'll also want to lengthen the O2 heater duty cycle on-time for the long-tubes.
Did a lot of work on an '05 with the balls-out Bassanni system.
The AEM intake didn't help the problem... Almost a 30% table correction to get the MAF accurate again at higher flow.
Did all the work with a DS Predator and their tuner shop interface.
