Anyone running a Hybrid Open/Closed Loop Setup?

I have been reading on the various forums about some user's running a hybrid Open Loop tune @ Lower RPM's and then allowing it go into Closed Loop @ Higher RPM's. I cannot find any option in HP Tuner's to set any kind of threshold to setup this configuration. I run a very large split duration cam that is pulling fresh intake air in the exhaust causing a false lean condition @ idle and low RPM's (This causes the PCM to dump fuel unnecessarily to get the A/F ratio down to 14.7 in closed loop). Most of the pro tuners I have spoke with are either running full time Open Loop or some sort of hybrid setup like I was mentioning before.

    On the LS1?

There isn't a mode like the older stuff that ran un heated
O2 sensors for open loop idle.

There is a minum map table for closed loop operation, but it won't be of much use to a cammed car with high map problems.

That is not to say we have not missed a status flag in a small routine somewhere, so if they know please tell and we will add it.
