Normal, performance & cruise. What takes preceence?

Sorry, word in title should be precedence....

I'm curious about the cruise settings in general.

Say I'm hauling my 5500lb travel trailer and tow haul mode is enabled.

What happens if I hit a nice flat open stretch of highway, hey it is Florida..., and hit the cruise button.

Do performance mode settings get overridden by cruise?

Just wondering if I should come up with a tune file specific for towing. Then when I unhook at the campsite load another tune file for driving around.

    Thanks

Normal = every car uses these tables if auto equipped, this is the default trans mode.
Performance = For vehicles equipped with a Perf. Mode button, or for vehicles equipped with a tow/haul mode. Or for vehicles that had enabled the Perf. Mode option via HPTuners.
Cruise = These tables are used only when the cruise control is activated
Hot = These tables are used only when the tranmission exceeds the Trans Over Temp setting

This is the order of priority (from my experience).

Is this ascending or descending? I would think Hot would take precedence over everything else.

Hot does take precedence over all.
Tow Haul/Performance take precedence over Normal & Cruise
Cruise takes precedence over Normal when activated.

Is this info only applicable to automatic transmissions? Are their similar settings for manual transmissions?

OK, I thought these referred to fuel tables or timing tables, etc. So, I guess it refers to an automatic transmission shift table or something like that. Just curious. I don't have my software yet (still awaiting shipment), so that is why I didn't realize what this thread was referencing.

Exactly, these are for automatic transmission shift settings.
