I am hearing that do to EPA. They have disabled the right to disable the CEL and MIL lights? Which is one reason I bought it. I wish I had known that, along with MDS disable and open the Active exhaust.

The only way I know how to disable The CEL lights is to use an older version of HP. Tuners

Or go through the "EPA compliance" training.

If you go under Help then parameter access under the VCM editor it will take you to a test then let you disable certain emissions related parameters. If you live in an emissions testing state you will most likely fail the inspection. The CEL won't be on but also the monitor will say incomplete. Where I'm at in Ohio all or most monitors have to be completed and no codes depending on the age of the vehicle.
