Yep that's more or less how to do it. Be careful going up big steps. 8 degrees at a time can get you into trouble. The other thing to be careful about is the knock sensors not working correctly.
so thats really the only area i adjust to make more power?
You cant adjust the whole table by a few degrees can you?
I dont get how i adjust my timing at WOT ill be able to feel more power at idle and part throttle?!
Well yeah you can adjust other areas. That was just an easy example. To figure out which ones, you'll have to log and review the spark tables. Compare the spark advance to TPS, MAP, RPM to see what load zones (cruising, accel, decel, off-idle transition) correspond.Originally Posted by mikefain215

The colors indicate low to high. Look at it in 3d. The colors are for just the graph. They aren't guidelines for tuning.
