The newest Camaro I've tuned is a 2016 6.2 8speed. What's involved in tuning the 2017+ Camaro 6.2?
Does the tcm needs to be sent to HP-Tuners to get unlocked like the 2017+ 8speed trucks TCMs? Or is it just plug, read, and tune away both pcm and tcm?

The engine side of tuning is the same, it just costs more credits for 2017+ vehicles.
This is what is required for the TCM.Note: 2017+ GM 8-Speed and 10-Speed T87A TCMs require an upgrade via HP Tuners’ GM TCM Unlock service before tuning. Our PCM Upgrade Service is required for 19 ZR1, Silverado L5P trucks, and Silverado E90 trucks.
