Can I swap calibration from 1 MB com to 512pcm

I have a tune from a mildly built 2003 5.3. I'd like to copy that calibration into a PCM for a 2000 5.3. Is it possible to do that?

    Well yes, sorta.

You can't just do a copy/paste of everything because a 2000 truck is drive by cable and a 2003 truck is drive by wire. You can copy over the basic things you will need like MAF/VE, injector stuff, PE, timing etc etc. Then you'll still have to dial in all the idle airflow tables and overall fueling with a wideband to make the MAF/VE all correct.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

They are both DBC. 03 is a van PCM.

It will be tuned professionally, just want to get it closer for startup than the stock calibration.

Even so, there is still the difference that is the P01 and P59 computers.

So I'd still just copy over what you need to make it work and then have it tuned. It will run fine with the basic stuff done. A mild 5.3 build doesn't take much to get it going.
