    04-08 F150 OS Changes

    I have an 04 F150 5.4 FX4. I recently acquired an 08 Saleen S331 Supercharger, which is now installed. Final order of business is the tune. What I did was find an S331 tune in the repository and copy over most items into my stock tune. However, I noticed that the saleen tune has a different OS with more/better parameters, such as changing cam timing based on load instead of driver demand and etc. Before I license my upgraded ?stock? tune, could I not just license the Saleen tune, even if it changes the OS?
    My stock tune is Black Oak 1472K OS-RXAQ5B4
    The saleen tune is Green Oak 1536K OS-08H08A0
    Does anyone know if they are compatible? Thanks!

    Interesting. Well okay then, I figured same engine, same body type, maybe it?ll be same ECU. Ford works in mysterious ways 🤷🏻*♂️ Thanks for your help!

    nope black oak vs green oak two different processors

    good news is the saleen tune is junk regardless so no real loss

    always best to just dial in what you have
