I have a 2014 gmc sierra with turbo kit and I recently built the motor with piston/rods and installed btr stage 1 cam for it. My concern on how to tune these gen 5 motors with cam installed (VVT/SOI).
Can anyone chime in and help.

tune it the same way you tune a GenIV motor

you just want to change the VVT to None/Disabled and turn off AFM
you can leave SOI stock for a base tune.
The VVT Phase lockout means that it will limit the movment thus we have to disable it in the tune ?
